Nano Silk Saltwater 100D

Semperfli is famous for its Nano Silk, with 100m for black and white per spool with its strongest per denier, ultra strong fibres and we give more GSP than any other volume manufacturer on a spool. However we wanted to develop a version perfect for saltwater fly tying at 100D. With deeper, dope dyed GSP. We had to introduce the colored plastic into the raw GSP as it was being dyed and extruded, the result is Nano Silk Saltwater 100D Black, a NEW version of Nano Silk with a deep color that will never lighten, or color run. Our new color dope dyed GSP formula is unique in the industry.

Nano Silk Saltwater is perfect for streamer and predator patterns with its flat profile ideal for chironomids, traditional flies and ribbing. Finer than many polyester 6/0 threads it is extremely strong, much stronger than polyester or rayon threads. Nano Silk Saltwater 100D Black is thread that will not break easily giving confidence for the fly tyer but can be flattened completely.
